Blacksite: Area 51

Mission planning, Worldbuilding & Small Team Leadership

As a level designer, I led a small team of designers and artists in the creation of one of six of the episodes in Blacksite: Area 51. I designed the initial mission walkthroughs and maps for two other episodes, the world map for the episodes set in Nevada, and shipped a multiplayer versus map. My episode featured widely varied gameplay, from a railshooter to squad-based FPS combat, driving, enemy spawners, interior combat, and boss fights. The final scenario brought many of these mechanics together in a boss fight arena with vehicular combat and squad tactics.
